Private Baking Session

Looking for a private baking class for children in Singapore? Gather a few friends and enjoy a fun, hands-on baking experience at Little Cookhouse! Our private baking sessions are perfect for birthdays, playdates, family gatherings, homeschool groups, or simply a memorable activity with friends.

Private baking classes are available with a minimum of 3 children (minimum of 4 children during Singapore school holiday periods) and are limited to 8 participating children per session (subject to age of participants and items baked), ensuring every child receives plenty of individual guidance from our instructors.

Age Suitability

Most baking projects can be adapted for children aged 3 to 12 years old.

Please note that highly detailed designs such as Unicorn Cakes and Rainbow Cakes are generally not recommended for children aged 9 years and below, as they require advanced decorating skills, fine motor coordination, and a longer attention span for independent completion.

Private Baking Session Timings

Weekends & Public Holidays

• Morning: 10:30am – 12:00pm
• Afternoon: 3:00pm – 4:30pm

Duration

• Standard baking sessions: 1.5 hours
• Whole cake classes: Up to 2 hours, depending on the selected bake.

Age Requirements

• Suitable for children aged 3–12 years old.
• Children below 6 years old should be accompanied by an adult.
• Children must have already turned 3 years old at the time of registration to participate in our baking activities.

How to Book a Private Baking Class

Before making a booking, please contact us via email or WhatsApp to check availability for your preferred date and time.

Our team will also recommend the most suitable baking projects based on:

• The children’s ages
• Group size
• Occasion (birthday, playdate, family gathering, etc.)
• Experience level

Once we have confirmed availability and agreed on the baking project, we will guide you through the booking and payment process.

As ingredient preparation is required, a minimum of 2 days’ advance booking is needed.

For last-minute enquiries, please contact us directly before making any payment.

Late Arrival Policy

Our classes are carefully scheduled throughout the day.

Should your session exceed the allocated timing due to late arrival by participants, an additional charge of $15 for every 15-minute block will apply, as delays affect subsequent classes.

Birthday Parties & Private Celebrations

As a cosy home-based baking studio, we can accommodate up to 8 participating children for birthday baking sessions.

If you would like to serve light refreshments, cake or goodie bags, we recommend doing so at our rooftop garden, a shared public space with a pleasant view that is available for gathering before or after the baking session.

This arrangement allows children to stay fully engaged during the baking activity, where their hands are actively involved throughout the session. It also helps maintain a clean baking environment by minimising food distractions and reducing the risk of cross-contamination between the baking ingredients and outside food.

We are happy to assist with the distribution of goodie bags. Please note that we do not provide party decorations or venue setup. Additional charges may apply for special requests.
