THIS SESSION IS RESCHEDULED TO 28 AUGUST 2021 In our lead up to Singapore’s National Day, we put our creative juices to work by using a very familiar Singapore favourite – PRATA – to make a classic italian sweet! Frangipane is named after 16th century Italian nobleman Marquis Muzio Frangipani, who invented a bitter almond-scented fragrance that was used to perfume gloves while he was living in Paris. French pastry chefs were inspired and invented the recipe, which became a classic. Typically used as a base in tarts or croissant, we are re-making this classic dish using a very familiar Singapore favourite – Prata! 1.5 hours, suitable for 3 – 12 years old.
