Fruit Cheese Tart

The Very Hungry Caterpillar eats his way through different food.  An Eric Carle classic, The Very Hungry Caterpillar brings children on a learning of days of the week, counting and the lifecycle of a butterfly.

Also, learn to make your very own delicious Fruit Cheese Tart from scratch. 

In partnership with Busyboardies   every participant of the workshop is also entitled to bring home a Kiddikutter knife! These knifes are designed for children 3 years & older to cut their own food SAFELY. We will be using the knife in our cheese fruit tart session.

1.5 hours, suitable for 3 – 12 years old. Children below 6 years old should be accompanied by an adult. 1 accompanying adult is allowed.

Bring Home:

• 4 x Fruit Cheese Tarts
• 1 x KiddiKutter knife

• 2^nd November (Sat) ~ 10.30 a.m. / 3.00 p.m.
• 3^rd November (Sun) ~ 10.30 a.m. / 2.00 p.m.

Skills Covered:

• Make tart pastry from scratch
• Press tart pastry into liners
• Pipe cream cheese filling into baked tart shells
• Cut fruits using a kiddicutter knife and learn cutting techniques and safety rules
• Assemble and decorate tart with fruits

Note: Children attending our classes should already be three years old and above at time of registration. This is to ensure more effective learning through our age-appropriate activities.
